My friend Brian asked me yesterday what is was like to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama at San Diego State University (SDSU) on Thursday, April 19, 2012.  I replied, “He was telling a story about baby turtles. He said he felt sorry for them. The mother lays the eggs and walks away. They have to fend for themselves. He said the lucky one’s are the one’s who have experienced great affection like kittens or puppies whose mother’s adore them. He said it was like this for humans too. They are at a disadvantage without love and affection and this affects everything else; the way they do business and they way they have relationships. ‘Be affectionate,’ he said. ‘Be loving. If you really want to make a difference in the world, do this.”

May you find it easier and easier to spread kindness wherever you go.  For help in this area, try one of my Stress Management Programs like Yoga Nidra or Meditation.  ~
